In the past days, quality contacts were made with the new AirSerbie Management, with the aim of re-examining options and justifications for flights between Belgrade and Brač at a recent meeting. Until now, the Tourist Board of Bol has performed a high quality presentation of the destination at the fair in Belgrade.
Brac Airport is pleased to continue negotiations with airlines that have so far not flying to our airport. So far, satisfactory contacts have been made with airline companies Titan Airways Ltd, Thomas Cook Group Airlines, ASL Airlines-France, Eurowings, SAS-Scandinavian Airlines, JET2COM, Flybe and Blue Air. We hope that at least a part of these companies will make a decision to start flights to Brac already in the 2019 season.
The Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines, has announced the announcement of direct flights from Kiev to Brac, B738 aircraft this season. According to the announcement, flights are scheduled for June 1st, Saturday and Sunday. We hope that sales will go well and we look forward to the first flights from Ukraine. .
The upgrade of Airport Brač, which is scheduled to end by 2021, is expected to extend the piste from 1760 to 2400m and extend from 30m to 45m. A reconstruction of the passenger terminal is also planned, in order to meet the spatial and comfort requirements for simultaneous reception and shipping of three aircraft size Boeing 737-800 or Airbus 320.
